Sunday – Worship with Family
Monday
- Read Song of Songs 2:11
- Ask – Winter is viewed as a sad and not so liked time of the year, but we should rejoice in all of God’s creation. What is your favorite part of winter?
- Child Pray
Tuesday
- Read Deuteronomy 4:6-9
- Ask – The Lord gave us “rules” to follow for our good, and they are to be passed down to our children. When we follow God’s commands we are considered wise. What commands are hardest to follow? What commands are easier to follow?
- Parent Pray
Wednesday
- Read Psalm 15:1-3
- Ask – How do we speak truth in our heart? How can we love our neighbor as ourselves tomorrow at school or at work?
- Everyone Pray
Thursday
- Read James 1:19-20
- Ask – What makes you angry? How do you manage your anger?
- Child Pray
Friday
- Read James 1:22
- Ask – How are you being a doer of the word? How can you be a better doer of the word?
- Child Pray
Saturday
- Read Mark 7:5-8
- Ask – Tradition is not bad, unless we put tradition in front of God. Washing your hands before you eat isn’t bad, until the Pharisees said you are wicked because you didn’t wash your hands. What sort of “traditions” in our life get put in front of God? (Sometimes its the color of the carpet in our buildings, or the type of outfits people are “supposed” to be wearing)
- Parent Pray
