Junior High and High School can be a difficult! One of the most important parts of life for our children in their middle and high school years is relationships. That’s what DelCo Youth is all about! Connecting young people to the truths of God’s word and the power of healthy relationships in a safe environment.
DelCo Youth is a culmination of youth groups from a few different churches across Delaware County. This group meets together at Living Word every other Sunday from 6-8PM. All 6th-12th graders are invited to join in! We share fellowship over food provided by parents. We get engaged through fun games and activities. We work through a short large group Bible Study time and then break into small groups: middle and high school girls, middle school boys, and high school boys. We end the night with a moment of quiet worship, singing praises to God. We would love for you to join us!
Our youth also get involved in multiple church events throughout the year. Some of these might include preparing and serving an Easter breakfast between our services, hosting a Trivia Night as an annual fundraiser, and attending the National Youth Gathering that comes around every 3 years!
DelCo Kids is all about helping our youngest disciples grow in faith, friendship, and joy! We offer monthly events designed to build community and faith connections for both kids and families.
3rd-5th Grade: Monthly gatherings that mix faith and fun. Think games, crafts, and short devotions that help kids begin owning their faith and friendships as they prepare for youth group.
Toddler-2nd Grade (and families): Fun, interactive events that include simple Bible lessons, crafts, songs, and play, perfect for introducing little ones to Jesus’ love in a hands-on way.
DelCo Kids works hand-in-hand with DelCo Youth to create a seamless path of faith growth from the earliest years through high school. Our goal is to walk alongside families as their children grow in Christ, every step of the way.
