Thanks to all who joined us for last year’s Fall FunFest! We’re at it again! We can’t wait to see you in just a few short weeks! That’s right on Saturday, October 10 from 5-8pm! You won’t want to miss it!
This year will be a bit different but we’re adding things frequently. We’ll still have many of your favorites and we’re working on a couple additions. One addition this year is that we want to recognize our community heroes. If you’re a police, fire, nurse or doctor we’d like to thank you for being on the front lines through this year. When you arrive tell someone at our welcome table that you’re a member of one of these groups and where you serve so we can thank you personally. This is our time to stand with you and support you and your family this year as you’ve given so much for us!
Here’s what we have planned:
- Face Painter
- PhotoBooth
- Free Pumpkins
- Bounce Houses
- Fun Games
- FREE Kona Ice
New this year we’re adding food trucks! In an effort to follow guidelines as best we can, we are bringing in food trucks. So come prepared for some great food too! Thanks to generous donations by members of Living Word who want to thank our first responders and all in attendance even the food cost will be covered!
Please check back often as we’re working on a few additional items to make this year super fun! We all deserve a fun night out! You can also download our app for up-to-date information as well.
In light of this year’s circumstances with Covid-19, we’re asking all in attendance to be mindful when you join us this year. Please do your best to adhere to all recommended measures to ensure the best experience possible. We’ll be spreading things out a bit to make sure that we have plenty of room for all of you! And unfortunately if there is bad weather this year, the event will be cancelled as no safe indoor option would be available.
Just a few of the things we’re planning to keep you safe.
The event is completely outside. All activities will be spread across our 8 acre property. You will find traffic pattern requests to keep us moving in a clockwise pattern around the property. We’ll be closing activities down in a rotating basis throughout the event to ensure that they are clean. All families are being asked to stick together throughout the event. All activities will have specific directions posted for you to follow to help keep everyone as safe as possible. We’re bringing in food trucks this year for you and we’ll have spacial markings on the ground to help you know visualize the recommended spacing. We will not be handing out prizes for our games this year so that we limit close contact. Please know this was a difficult decision for us but we felt it best for you. Additionally, there will be sanitizing stations on site by each of our activities. And we will have extra disposable face masks on hand for those that need one. You will also see reminders to stay socially connected but physically distanced.
If you feel sick or are showing signs of coming down with any illness, please stay home or seek medical attention. We will do all we can to provide a fun family friendly atmosphere for you but just like anywhere else we can’t control any illness. So by attending we all acknowledge that we are taking some risk.
We can’t wait to see you! Check out last year’s video if you weren’t able to make it!
