Read Acts 8:36-38
- Parents tell your children about the day they were baptized. If you or your children have not been baptized, talk about the forgiveness that Baptism gives because of what Jesus did for us.
Read Psalm 22:27-28
Ask – In this Psalm, we are told that Jesus wants every single person in the world to worship Him because He is king over everything, so what are some different ways that you can worship Jesus throughout the week when you are not at church?
Read 1 John 4:7-11
Ask – Because God first loved us, we now ought to love one another. What are some ways you can show love towards someone you will see tomorrow?

Read 1 John 4:19-21
Ask – Again, we love because God first loved us. How can we show love towards each other? Give specific ideas.
For older children – How do you feel loved by others? (Look up 5 Love Languages for help)
Read John 21:5-6
Ask – Jesus provided fish for the disciples, what has Jesus provided to you today?
For older children – How would life look different if we thought we got these things on our own?
Read John 15:5
Ask – We are connected to Jesus, and because of that we produce fruit, which is good works. What are the purpose of good works? (Answer: to point others to Jesus)
For older children – How do we reflect who Jesus is to others when we do not do good works?
